For my third consecutive season in AlUla, I was tasked with elevating the Annabel’s experience by relocating the brand to the historic site of Jabal Ikmah. Here, myself and my team meticulously recreated an almost identical replica of the iconic Garden Room from Annabel’s Mayfair — thoughtfully designed, expertly constructed, and seamlessly operated over a six-month residency at the heart of AlUla.

Guests were immersed in a lush sanctuary beneath the expansive canopy of a towering central tree, surrounded by over 500 meticulously selected faux flowers and plants, crafting a rich, immersive atmosphere.

For those seeking a more intimate and exclusive setting, the ‘Monkey Room PDR’ offered a private dining experience, distinguished by the presence of Annabel’s signature ape sculpture, seated proudly at the head of the table — a subtle yet powerful emblem of the brand’s heritage and exclusivity.

The culinary experience brought the luxury signature menus of Annabel’s Mayfair to AlUla, paired with non-alcoholic cocktails inspired by the local culture, incorporating regional ingredients such as dates and citrus fruits. This thoughtful integration celebrated the richness of Saudi Arabian heritage while maintaining the sophisticated identity of the Annabel’s brand, creating a truly bespoke and culturally resonant dining experience.
